Fine Art

Artistic Orientation

There is a satisfaction and pleasure in the crafting of stone. It is a medium that requires respect and a dedication of time to learn well. I am an object maker who finds meaning in the making as well as the relationship between object and viewer. The Sculptural form displays the marks of its creation and carries within the intent of the Sculptor. This coupled with what the viewer brings as a separate individual full of experiences and expectations creates the potential for a conversation that on occasion: stops time and creates its own gravity of moment.

Or more simply: I like to make stuff, and if it resonates with others…great, a bonus.
